B.Sc (PCM)
B.Sc. is Bachelor of Science- a Graduation level course. As the name indicates, it gives specialization in Science. The branch of PCM includes Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The course focuses on creating professional with understanding of functional and structural basis of Universe. It creates the basis of Science and candidates get the higher level of learning of chemical, mathematical and physical sciences.
Eligibility
Candidates who have completed their 12th standard successfully with at least 55% marks are eligible for this course. They must have studies Physics, chemistry and mathematics during their 12th. There must be some age restriction for the course and that need to be checked before submission of application form.
Duration
The duration for this course is 3 years. These 3 years are divided into 6 semesters, each having 6 months duration. The whole syllabus is also divided into 6 parts accordingly.
Further Study options
After completion of this course, candidates are advised to pursue the Masters degree in same or similar specialization to have better career. They can go for M.Sc. in PCM, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, etc.
After that, they may also pursue PhD to have scientific career options in future.
B.Ed. can be pursued if a candidate has interest in teaching. It can be pursued through correspondence also.

It starts with Mechanics, Atomic structure, Differential calculus, chemical bonding, basics of organic chemistry, Electricity, Chemical Energetic, Environmental Science, etc. It also teaches about Magnetism, thermal physics, Real Analysis, Statistical Mechanics, Solutions, Conductance, Waves and Optics, Algebra, Phase equilibrium and many more related topics.
The later part of course includes different elective papers like Element and Modern Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Digital, Analog and instrumentation, nuclear ad Particle Physics, Medical Physics, etc.
