Kalinga University, one of the premier institutions of teaching and research, commenced its establishment in the academic year of 2011. The university is located in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The university was established under the aegis of Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operations) Act 2005 – vide Gazette Notification S. No. 74 dated 25 March 2011. The main motive of the university is to provide a huge number of courses for the students, with high quality and creative understanding of the programs. By promoting the use of new technologies, bringing leadership and disciple in the students.
One of the most important features of the University is its participation in various associations. The university is a member of Association Indian Universities (AIU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), and Indian Importers Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) etc.
The programs offered by the university are approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Bar Council of India (AICTE), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). These programs are in the field of Engineering, Law, Education, and Pharmacy.
Kalinga University was established in 2013 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. It promotes cultural diversity and has over 7,000 students from all over the country and foreign countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, South Korea, and Uganda. The private University is recognised by UGC, BCI, PCI, and AICTE and is a member of AIU. It offers various UG and PG courses, including BBA, MBA, BTech, MTech, BSc, BCA, MCA, LLB, LLM, and BPharm amid others. The University has more than 75 well-equipped laboratories and workshops. It comprises eight departments, which have highly experienced senior professors, qualified faculty members, and a distinguished panel of experts drawn from various industries, who regularly come for guest lectures. It received The Best Private University in Central India Award by ASSOCHAM in 2019.

Kalinga University Admission
The mode of Kalinga University application process is online. Candidates are required to fill the application form available on the official website of the University.
- For admission to all UG/PG/PhD courses, candidates must have a valid Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) score
- KALSEE is a 90-minute Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted by Pearson VUE (for Kalinga University) and is held in various cities across India and other countries
- The application fee for KALSEE (PhD/MPhil) is Rs 2,000 and KALSEE (other courses) is Rs 1,000
- For admission to UG courses, candidates also must have completed their Class 12
- For admission to PG courses, candidates also must have completed their Graduation
